Kingsbridge Estates is pleased to announce that Ian Playford, currently Investment Director and Non-Executive Director of the Board, has been appointed as Chairman with effect from 1st April 2018.

In this role, Ian will provide support to the company’s new Chief Executive, Chris Fry, and ensure the company evolves to higher strategic level and achieves its future growth targets.

Ian Playford joined the Board of Kingsbridge Estates in April 2015 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and became Investment Advisor in 2016.Ian has more than 25 years of extensive business and management experience having held a variety of senior leadership roles.

His most recent position is CEO (interim) at the Government Property Agency at the Cabinet Office.

Prior to this he held roles as Fund Manager for Aviva, an Investment Specialist at JLL, an International Property Developer at Parkridge and Group Property Director for Kingfisher plc.

Ian is MRICS qualified and currently sits as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service.
